Diverse and inclusive books

Peters is committed to ensuring that primary and secondary schools across the UK have diverse and inclusive books for their pupils. We work with publishers and a range of partners to ensure that wherever possible we are recommending books that reflect the cultural backgrounds of all children.

Looking for books written by authors from or set in a specific country? Try our map search – ideal for reading around a theme or as topic support for schools.

We also create bespoke lists around specific themes such as BAME characters, neurodiversity, disability, Black History, LGBTQ+ and more. Need advice on diversifying books in your school? Email hello@peters.co.uk or call us on 0121 666 6646.
