PSHE books for primary schools

Books can offer much-needed support for children who are impacted by changes in family circumstances, who may be on the waiting list for professional support or struggling with school life post-pandemic.

For pupils who may be struggling, reading about characters that have faced and overcome similar problems can give hope, and for their peers these texts can be vital in helping to build empathy and understanding. Our team have put together some lists of recommended books to cover the primary PSHE curriculum, books to support pupil wellbeing and positive mental health, as well as ideas for teacher CPD.
