Inclusive Books for Children working in partnership with Peters

Inclusive Books for Children is a charity that exists to make inclusive books mainstream. IBC’s free website helps families, schools and libraries easily choose books for a more inclusive bookshelf, and shines a light on authors and illustrators.

Inclusive Books for Children showcase stories that represent all types of family and don't draw on gender stereotypes or negative tropes. All books featured show a variety of ethnicities, positive images of disabilities and different identities, and celebrate Own-Voice authors and illustrators.

Sarah Satha, co-founder of IBC said “We're thrilled to be launching our partnership with Peters to supply inclusive book packs to schools and libraries, including our heritage representation pack and our ‘20 books for a balanced bookshelf’ bundles. Peters is as passionate as IBC about reaching young readers with inclusive stories and this partnership feels perfectly aligned.”
