A selection of recent titles that feature characters with disabilities, yet the story doesn't revolve around the disabilities. These are children that get into adventures, scrapes, misbehave and generally do all of the things you expect of a child. There are also titles that show how, as an abled-bodied person, to respond to the disabled with empathy and inclusion. International Day of Persons with Disabilities is on 3rd December this year.
