Love Literacy is a conference suitable for literacy leads, school librarians, senior leaders with a focus on literacy and reading, staff at primary and secondary schools, and public librarians and staff at public libraries.

For delegate ticket bookings before Monday 9 June we are offering an Early Bird pricing of £135 + VAT per person.

Delegate ticket bookings on and after Monday 9 June will be at the standard pricing of £150 + VAT person.

Yes, you can book delegate places for more than one person. You will need to provide contact details for all delegates you are booking for in the registration form.

If you are booking for more than one person, the invoice you receive will be consolidated.

You will have 30 days to pay the invoice from the invoice date. If the invoice is not paid in 30 days, your booking will be released.

If you wish to pay via credit or debit card, please follow these steps:

1. Complete the online form and indicate you will be paying via credit or debit card.
2. Call our customer services team at 0121 666 6646. They will direct you to our Accounts team, who will then take payment over the phone.

If you indicate you are paying by credit or debit card but you do not pay within 48 hours of completing the online form, this response will be void and you will have to complete the form again.

Places are non-refundable after payment has been made.

If you can no longer attend the conference, you may allocate your ticket to another individual up to 48 hours prior to Love Literacy. This will need to be confirmed in writing to loveliteracy@peters.co.uk.

A full agenda will be confirmed in advance of the conference.

Registration will open at 8.45am and the conference will close at 4pm. There will be a morning break, lunch break, and afternoon tea break. Lunch and refreshments are included in the ticket price.

We will be in touch closer to the conference with full details of the workshops on offer. Workshops will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.

IET Austin Court provide detailed directions for those travelling by train or by car to the venue. You can read their guidance here. In addition to this, members of our team will be on common routes to the venue to help direct you to the conference.

Travelling by train

IET Austin Court is a 15-20 minute walk from Birmingham New Street Station and Birmingham Snow Hill Station. The tramline also links New Street Station to IET Austin Court.

Travelling by car

The best place to park is at Utilita Arena Birmingham. From there, it is a 3-5 minute walk to IET Austin Court.

Please note that Birmingham city centre operates a clean air zone, so please check if your vehicle is affected by this charge.

The majority of the venue has step-free access with a ground-level entrance and a lift to the first floor. Please note that one Love Literacy workshop room (Telford room) has one step to access the room.
