Love Literacy 2025: Reading for Generations
Our flagship one-day conference for teachers and librarians returned in November 2025 at IET Austin Court, Birmingham. The theme was "Reading for Generations", the ideal focus ahead of the National Year of Reading 2026.
Keynote speakers were Jonathan Douglas CBE, Chief Executive of the National Literacy Trust; Matt Goodfellow, poet and author; Rashmi Sirdeshpande, author; and Tola Okogwu, author. Workshops were led by literacy experts and organisations, including The Reading Agency, Inclusive Books for Children, and One Education.

Love Literacy 2019
Love Literacy 2019 was held at the Birmingham Hippodrome. Keynote speakers were Nick Poole, CILIP; Chris Riddell, author and illustrator; Neil Griffiths, author and literacy consultant; Jim Field and Rachel Bright, author and illustrator; and Sonia Thompson, headteacher of St Matthews' Birmingham.
