Peters & Walker Book Club
In partnership with children's book publisher Walker Books, the final instalment of Peters & Walker Book Club has launched for summer 2023 – and you're invited! As part of our commitment to helping teachers to encourage pupils to read for pleasure, we're providing free discussion guides, activity sheets, downloadable resources and more so you can hold your own book groups at your school.
How it works
We've selected three incredible books, with one for each age group of Lower KS2, Upper KS2 and KS3. Alongside this, we've provided a range of activities and supporting resources that you can use with your class, including author videos, discussion guides and downloadable posters. The age-appropriate titles have been expertly selected to encourage discussion within your classroom or library.
How to get involved
All of the resources are available below, so simply bookmark this page for access. We'd also love to see how you are implementing the book groups in your school, so be sure to tag us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with the hashtag #PetersWalkerBookClub.

Our third group of authors includes Chrissie Sains, Alasdair Beckett-King and Joseph Elliott. So whether your class wants to join an alien in a jam factory, help to solve a murder at the museum, or brave the haunted Scotian mainland, take them on an adventure they won't forget!
