World Laughter Day: ten books to tickle your funny bone

A global celebration of laughter, smiling and all things positive, World Laughter Day this year falls on Sunday 4 May 2025. 
To mark the occasion, Children's Librarian Katie has selected a range of funny stories that have been thoroughly tested by a discerning audience of under-fives! In no particular order, here are ten books to tickle your funny bone.
