Secondary books to support Mental Health Awareness Week

To support Mental Health Awareness Week, our librarians have created a mix of fiction and non-fiction titles suitable for Key Stages 3 and 4. Schools can help students develop their understanding of mental health by stocking their libraries with books that explore a range of different topics, helping them become more comfortable when expressing ideas and talking about mental and emotional issues.   9781407170992   The Goldfish Boy by Lisa Thompson Suitable for Key Stage 3     9781526361158   You Are Awesome by Matthew Syed Suitable for Key Stage 3     9781474937290   Looking After Your Mental Health by Alice James and Louis Stowell Suitable for Key Stage 3     9781788450102   Mike by Andrew Norriss Suitable for Key Stages 3 and 4     9781911490036   The Light Between Worlds by Laura Weymouth Suitable for Key Stages 3 and 4     9781910200919   The Icarus Show by Sally Christie Suitable for Key Stages 3 and 4     9781471406232   Night Shift by Debi Gliori Suitable for Key Stages 3 and 4     9781445158143   Positively Teenage by Nicola Morgan Suitable for Key Stages 3 and 4     9781509876990   Open Your Heart by Gemma Cairney Suitable for Key Stages 3 and 4     9780141346045   Turtles All the Way Down by John Green Suitable for Key Stages 4   To find out more about Mental Health Awareness Week, please visit www.mentalhealth.org.uk
