Celebrating World Book Day 2022

Dressing up as school picture book characters for world book day

March 7th 2022

The Peters team donned their best fancy dress to celebrate World Book Day last week, a day to engage students and encourage reading for pleasure.

Staff dressed as their favourite school picture book characters to celebrate reading for pleasure and to raise funds for a donation of picture books for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Costumes included Willy Wonka, Mary Poppins, the Queen of Hearts, the Hungry Caterpillar, and more primary curriculum book characters. See a selection of photos from the day below!
