Peters attends the CLiPPA Poetry Award

Peters Books & Furniture was proud to attend this year’s CLiPPA Poetry Awards at the National Theatre in London in July. Celebrating poetry, performance, and self-expression, the five nominated works of poetry were all represented with readings from the poets themselves as well as performances by five brilliant schools. These schools all won a £100 voucher from us to spend on even more inspirational books for these keen students! Pictured below left with their cheque is John Donne School, Peckham, who performed ‘Stone’ by Rachel Rooney from ‘My Life as a Goldfish’.
