Peters and English Mastery Primary launch new partnership for schools

Our partnership with English Mastery Primary to drive improvements in English

We're proud to be launching a new partnership with Ark Curriculum Plus (AC+)’s English Mastery Primary, their powerful primary English subject excellence programme driving improvements in English teaching and learning.

English Mastery Primary is a complete reading, writing, and grammar programme for Key Stage 2, connected by a reading spine of incredible books – and English Mastery schools will benefit from competitive discounts on these books when purchasing through Peters. This is the latest in a series of partnerships supporting schools across the UK with key titles for reading and curriculum spines, aiming to boost reading provision and literacy levels.

Informed by a wide research base and evidence of impact, English Mastery Primary has been successfully piloted by teachers and subject leaders in Ark schools and other multi-academy trusts, with 55 schools and more than 5,000 Key Stage 2 pupils benefiting from the approach over the past four years.

The subject excellence programme from (AC+) provides a well-sequenced and ambitious curriculum, aligned with expert implementation support from subject specialists. The programme recognises and addresses the key challenges faced by schools when providing high-quality English teaching, with schools receiving bespoke support, data insights and professional development tailored to their staff.
