Empathy Day will be celebrated in many libraries across the country on 11th June 2019. Empathy Day is all about helping us understand each other better, it gives us the chance to take new steps on our empathy journey. Here are a few ideas on how you can make a difference on Empathy Day.
Empathy is a beacon of hope in a divided world: join our 2019 programme.
EmpathyLab now offers training and Empathy Day toolkits for libraries interested in building young people’s empathy, literacy and social activism.
Our library toolkit is available free of charge and introduces The Empathy Conversation. A 2019 Empathy Day activity has been developed by library staff to involve community groups that already meet in your library. Also included are ideas for class visits and wonderful resources to create empathy displays and help people make Empathy Resolutions.
To request a toolkit please email info@empathylab.uk. By requesting a toolkit, you will automatically be added to EmpathyLab’s mailing list.
