Carnegie and Kate Greenaway longlists announced for 2020

The Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Awards are the UK's oldest children's book awards, chosen by a panel of fourteen librarian judges. As with every year, there are some fantastic titles on the longlists for 2020 – congratulations to all authors and illustrators who have been longlisted. Both lists include some debuts as well as some more familiar names.
