Lancashire Book of the Year is an award for young adult fiction voted for by young people from secondary schools across Lancashire. Running since 1987, it is the oldest book award of its type in the world, with previous winners including Phillip Pullman, Anthony Horowitz, Malorie Blackman, and Sarah Crossan.
