Jelly and Bean
The Jelly and Bean reading scheme follows the Letters and Sounds phonics progression, as required by the new Ofsted framework. Illustrations and words are closely linked so that children have something they already know to help them latch onto letters and sounds, and the Tom and Bella characters are fully integrated into the scheme. Children stay well motivated as they enjoy the antics of the animals in the amusing stories.
Jelly and Bean's new series of books for 2020, Alfie's Adventure are now available for children working at the green book band level in phonic phase 5.
