Book of the week
The bonds we create, human or animal, are beautifully explored and you really resonate with the characters. Multi layered, a strong spiritual/photography theme adds to the mix. It's a raw, captivating, generous story and you get a lot out of it. A fantastic read.
The main character is sensitive and can see ghosts. His best friend is a ghost/imagined friend but there is nothing scary regarding this in the story.
There is a gun fight where some characters get hurt and some die but the description is mild.
